Researchers from Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University are in the process of proposing the formation of a new Research Hub: Engineering Health Equity through Inclusive Transport, Housing, and Environmental Systems in Northern Ireland.

We would like to invite you, our PPI Network colleagues, to “Save the date” and join us at an upcoming interactive research proposal workshop.

Purpose: This event will bring together researchers, research partners and beneficiaries to discuss an exciting research proposal aimed at addressing health inequities using novel technologies. We would like your input, helping us to ask pertinent, relevant research questions.

Who will be involved? Researchers, members of the public, civil servants, industry leads, regional charities and advocacy representatives. We want to include as many voices and insights as possible.

What will be expected? On the day, participants will be invited to share their personal and professional experiences of housing, transport, environment and health provisions in Northern Ireland. These insights will then help to shape the research proposal.
